DeKalb County’s interim CEO Lee May is holding a series of town hall meetings, starting Tuesday, June 30.

A press release from DeKalb County says, “these meetings are an opportunity for ICEO May to discuss the recently-announced mid-year budget recommendations with citizens, including a proposed tax cut for county residents and funding for police body cameras, as well as the Rolling Forward to One sanitation program.”

Once-a-week sanitation services start up next Monday, July 6 for DeKalb County residents. The move from twice-a-week to once is a cost-cutting measure that was approved by DeKalb commissioners.
