The first time Slide the City came to Decatur on July 25 there was bright skies, warm weather and large crowds. But the slide was cut short around 1 p.m. because of water pressure issues in DeKalb County—leaving many ticket-holders with later start times left out. The event would be rescheduled and relocated to McDonough Street—sans water issues. But with early fall weather and grey skies, the crowd was noticeably smaller making for near non-existent wait times. Slide on people.
