Wednesday is your day if you want to eat out this week…

My Parents’ Basement in Avondale Estates is holding a “Back to the Future Part II” party on Wednesday.

October 21, 2015 was the date Marty McFly visited in the 1989 movie. A costume contest starts at 8 p.m., according to the Facebook page.

Kirkwood’s Dulce Vegan is holding a grand opening celebration Wednesday. The bakery reopened in September after being closed for renovations for several months. Dulce Vegan will have extended hours on Wednesday, October 21, opening at 7:30 a.m. and closing at 5 p.m. A portion of sales will be donated to Georgia House Rabbit Society, which rescues bunnies.

Also on Wednesday…the Krog Street Market is inviting people to Ménage à Krog‏ from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Banjo Cold Brew, Xocolatl, a chocolate company, and European Cellars are launching fall flavors in beer, chocolate, and wine. Banjor Cold Brew said in an email, “We will be officially launching our Fall flavors: Autumn Spice Latté and Mexican Vanilla and will be serving them from the nitro taps for the night! We are also partnering with a small-batch, Atlanta-based chocolate company (Xocolatl) and an amazing European Wine distributor (European Cellars), which will be discussing their newly developed sipping chocolate and seasonal selections.”

Finally, The Pinewood in Decatur is hiring. It’s looking for a host to join the team, according to this Instagram post.
