The Fernbank Museum is holding a casting call for families to star in a TV commercial for its Winter Wonderland exhibit.

The Fernbank website says it needs a few families – either single parents or two parents with one to three children ages 4-9 – to participate in a TV shoot on Friday, Nov. 20 from 1:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. Still photos may also be taken.

There are no speaking roles – the participants will be featured as “extras” in footage showing families participating in the exhibition.

The casting call said no guarantees for screen time can be made, but “we will do our best to include as many participants as possible.”

Families that take part for the whole shoot will receive four museum passes and four passes to an IMAX film. Participants are asked to send their info and photos to the museum ahead of time, and will get a confirmation by 3 p.m. Thursday. Here are the requirements:

1. All participants must arrive at the Museum between 1:15pm-1:30pm. We will not be able to stop production for early arrivals or latecomers.
2. All participants (children and adults alike) must be comfortable in front of cameras and not be shy.
3. Parent(s)/guardian(s) must remain onsite with child during shoot and be willing to be on camera with the child/children.
4. Participants should wear clothing that adheres to the following:

Avoid small/tight/thin textures and patterns.
Avoid graphics tees and visibly branded attire (i.e. Nike, Coca-Cola, etc.).
Avoid solid white or neon colors.
Have clothes already pressed and free of stains.
Wear fall/winter clothing (no shorts, sandals or warm-weather looks).
Bring a few ‘wintry’ accessories (coat, sweater, scarves, gloves, etc.).
Have make-up/hair already fixed
Interested individuals should send their full name, contact info, total number of children, number of adults, children’s ages and a photo (if available) to communication.intern@fernbankmuseum.org with PHOTO SHOOT in the subject.

Space is limited! We will ONLY contact those individuals selected to participate and space will likely fill up quickly. No phone calls, please. If you are selected, you will receive a confirmation email by 3pm on Thursday, November 19 with further details. Only those that receive a confirmation email will be admitted to the shoot.
