LifeLine Animal Project offering free pet adoptions this weekend

There’s an adoption special this weekend for people in the market for a new dog or cat.

The LifeLine Animal Project is offering free animal adoptions Nov. 27 through Nov. 30.  The adoptions are being sponsored by Zappos.com.

The LifeLine Animal Project runs DeKalb County Animal Services and Fulton County Animal Services. There is also a Lifeline shelter in Avondale Estates.

“All potential adopters will be screened to ensure the pets are going to good homes,” a press release from the LifeLine Animal Project says. “This $250 value also includes the pets spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations, and is valid at any of our shelters.”

The shelters are:

– DeKalb County Animal Services, 845 Camp Road, Decatur;

– Fulton County Animal Services, 860 Marietta Blvd, Atlanta;

– LifeLine Dog House & Kitty Motel, 129 Lake Street, Avondale Estates;

– LifeLine Cat Adoption Center, 3172 E. Ponce De Leon Ave., Scottdale.
