Twisted Soul is closing its Decatur location on East Howard Avenue and the soul food restaurant’s owner is looking for a new space.

“The Twisted Family want to wish all our supporters a wonderful holiday. We have made the hard decision to relocate….. More details to come,” a message on the restaurant’s Facebook page says. “It’s been one heck of a year and we plan on keeping this ride going. Come see us before we close on Dec. 30, 2015.¬†We love you all Happy Holidays!”

Chef Deborah VanTrece opened the¬†restaurant in December of last year, replacing MARBAR. According to Atlanta Eater, VanTrece couldn’t come to an agreement with the landlord about a new lease. Eater says she’ll be looking for another location in Decatur, but may consider locations in other parts of Atlanta. To read that story, click here.
