Drivers beware. The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) says it will be closing lanes on the Downtown Connector on weeknights for the next month and a half.

GDOT said in a press release that three northbound and three southbound lanes will close on I-75/I-85 weeknights starting at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. This will continue until Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016.

GDOT said weekends will not be included, and the lane closures will take place specifically on “I-75/I-85 northbound and southbound between 10th/14th/17th Street exit and Edgewood Avenue exit.”

GDOT said the lane closures will most likely result in delays. It said drivers should slow down and drive with caution through those areas since there will be workers and heavy equipment.
