Atlanta Police are looking for a young man they say broke into a car and was caught on camera.

It happened on Chester Ave. off of Memorial Dr. earlier this month. Police released three photos of the man who they say appears to be in his late teens to early 20s. They say he was wearing a black shirt and black jeans.

Police said in an email, “On March 14th at approximately at 11:00 a.m., a unit was flagged down by the victim who advised that a larceny from her vehicle had taken place at approximately 3:00 a.m. The victim advised that the subject made entry into her vehicle but did not take anything that was inside the vehicle. There are security surveillance cameras installed at the home and the victim was able to capture an image of the subject inside the vehicle.”

Police said, “Any information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online www.crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637). Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000.”
