Revival launches a Sunday brunch menu

Revival, a traditional Southern-style restaurant in Decatur, is launching their Sunday brunch menu on Jan. 8.

The owner, Kevin Gillespie has been working in tandem with executive chef Andreas Müller to design a menu that can bring more Sunday guests together.

“As a kid, I always looked forward to family breakfasts on the weekend,” Gillespie said in a press release. “It was a chance to slow down, make family favorites that we were too busy to cook on weekdays and enjoy each other’s company. We want to replicate that experience.”

This new menu will feature tried and true dishes, like the Closed-on-Sunday chicken sandwich, as well as classic but new options, like an egg, grits, meat, and biscuit plate.

A Sunday brunch menu was in motion over the course of last year. Eddie’s Attic served their customers trial runs of brunch recipes from Revival.

Müller said in a press release that working with Eddie’s Attic “allows us to hit the ground with an entire brunch menu of home runs.”

Sunday brunch will be served starting Sunday, Jan. 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
