The city of Pine Lake will host an opening ceremony for the first public art exhibit on its new art wall, titled “Public Works at Public Works,” on Saturday, June 16.

Pine Lake, one of DeKalb’s smallest cities, is located 12 miles east of Atlanta, between Decatur and Stone Mountain.  The new installation will feature photographs by Pine Lake artists exploring Pine Lake’s natural environment, according to a Pine Lake press release.

A public reception for the installation will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Clubhouse, 300 Clubhouse Drive, Pine Lake 30072 featuring live music by the Mike Z Jazz Combo and the lighting of the art wall at sunset (around 9 p.m.). The artists will be present.
