The next Decatur Neighborhood Alliance meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 25, offering Decatur residents from all neighborhoods an opportunity to connect and discuss community goals.

According to a city newsletter, anyone is invited to attend, whether you live in a house, condominium, townhome or apartment.

The meeting will focus on fostering collaboration between neighborhoods to solve problems and will also help build stronger ties within neighborhoods and across others.

Additionally, neighborhoods participating in National Neighborhood Day on Sept. 16 are invited to share their plans at the meeting to inspire other people attending the meeting.

According to the newsletter, the holiday is celebrated annually on the third Sunday in September, but neighborhoods are welcome to choose whatever day suits their community.

The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Clairmont Oaks Community Room, located 441 Clairemont Ave.

Contact Lee Ann Harvey at 678-553-6548 or [email protected] to confirm your attendance or to update your neighborhood’s listing on the Neighborhood Groups page.
