The Avondale Estates Business Association will host its second annual Sip ‘n Stroll event on Saturday, Sept. 29, allowing people to explore local businesses and international wines.

The event will feature pouring stations throughout Avondale offering samples from over 40 wine varieties provided by United Distributors.

Each participant receives a souvenir wine glass and a “passport” program with the purchase of their ticket. The glass will serve as the ticket, allowing guests to stroll through the city by foot or take a free FurBus between pouring locations.

A fundraiser for support of other special events in Avondale Estates, the event will take place from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and is a rain or shine event. All participants must be 21 or older.

Tickets are $30, cash or check, and can be purchased at Avondale shops such as Purple Cork Wine Shop, The Stratford Pub, Avondale Towne Cinema, Garage Studio, and Second Life Furniture Store until September 26.

Alternatively, tickets can be purchased for $35 online here. Tickets are $45 the day of the event. Guests must pick up their wine glass before 5:30 p.m. at the registration area, located at 64 N. Avondale Road, which is the old bank parking lot.
