Looking to help out in the community? The NAACP DeKalb County Branch of Education Committee partnered with DeKalb County Schools and other community organizations to find more volunteers to help out in schools.
Involvement is important from not just parents, but many other members of the community as well.
According to a recent press release, “the research has shown that parent, family and community involvement correlates with higher academic performance and school improvement.”
