DeKalb County’s Department of Watershed Management is replacing 200 feet of water pipe in Clarkston, which will require overnight lane closures this week.

The work will begin Monday evening Sept. 24.

“This project will be along Market Street, from Vaughn Street to East Ponce de Leon Avenue, and from Church Street to Rowland Street,” the county says. “Repairs will begin tonight at 6:30 p.m. Crews will work overnight from 6:30 p.m. until 6 a.m., with repairs anticipated to be completed by Friday (weather permitting). Traffic personnel will be onsite to guide motorists safely through the area.”
