Mawuli Davis is a founding partner of the Davis Bozeman Law Firm where he leads the firm’s Civil Rights Division. He’s also a local community activist and recently he’s been a champion of efforts to address racial inequality in City Schools of Decatur. Through his group, the Beacon Hill Black Alliance for Human Rights, Davis has advocated for changes to policies that he says are unfairly targeting black students. The group recently gave CSD 30 days to implement seven policy changes or face non-violent protests led by the group.
