Decatur’s Young Emerging Artists – or YEA! – market will return to Oakhurst Village on Sept. 30, giving young local artists a chance to showcase their work.

The one-day arts event gives Decatur students in grades K-12 a chance to present art of all sorts, including jewelry, paintings, photography, drawings and handcrafted goods (even food).

Tents will line Harmony Park in Oakhurst featuring students’ work for sale, along with a line-up of live music performances that features rock and blues acts, soloists, singer-songwriters and more.

Through the event, the young artists gain practical experience in event organization, marketing and sales of their artwork.
