Fire hydrant repair affects water pressure in Avondale

The city of Avondale Estates reported on Tuesday, Jan. 15, that DeKalb County was fixing a fire hydrant and it affected water pressure in the city.
“A water hydrant repair in the area of 1054 Lakeshore Drive has residents in the area of Lakeshore Plaza, Hess Drive, and Wiltshire Drive with low or no water pressure today,” a message from the city says. “DeKalb County Watershed Management and Georgia Hydrant Services is on the scene currently working to repair the issue and restore service.”
Water pressure was restored at 1:21 p.m., the city reported.
