Decaturish.com, Decatur’s trusted local news source, recently created a business directory to connect readers with the businesses that support us.

The directory aims to help readers shop local and support Decaturish by telling them more about the services offered by our advertisers. Advertisers on Decaturish.com get a free listing. Eventually we will offer pricing plans for businesses that are only interested in being a part of the directory.

People using the directory will also be able to send private messages to advertisers via a messaging feature at the bottom of each listing. Each week, Decaturish will publish a short feature on one of the businesses listed in the directory. Like our Advertiser Spotlight series, the goal is to remind readers that, in addition to subscription revenue, we are dependent on the support of the business community. Without them, we would be unable to provide readers with free news.

We encourage our readers consider doing businesses with the companies that support us. We have a variety of clients, from home builders to home cleaners.
