On April 28, at 8 p.m., Core Dance’s Core Performance Company will be putting on an interactive experience with the community called WALK.

The Core Performance Company will compose a piece using an illuminated Labyrinth and the help of the community. According to a recent press release, the Labyrinth is in place to provide “a sacred space” to consider “the changing nature of the individual within our briskly changing world.”

WALK will be held at the field on the corner of Commerce Drive and West Trinity Place in Decatur.

Canned food donations will be accepted around the Labyrinth and at Core Studios, located at 133 Sycamore Street in Decatur. All donations will be given to the Decatur-Area Emergency Assistance, or DEAM.
