A 15-year old Decatur High School student was arrested for robbery and simple battery in connection with an August 28th incident involving a student from Renfroe Middle School.

The Renfroe student was walking home from school when he had his iPhone snatched. The victim reported he was followed from an area near the high school’s parking lot to Greenwood Ave by two high-school-aged males, where he was grabbed from behind.

Decatur Police don’t think the Renfroe student robbery is related to the series of robberies that occured around the Decatur High football game. They told Decaturish.com on Tuesday they were close to making an arrest in the Renfroe student robbery.
