The movie is called “Barely Lethal” and is set for release sometime in 2014. According to Internet Movie Database, the plot involves, “A 16-year-old international assassin yearning for a ‘normal’ adolescence (who) fakes her own death and enrolls as a senior in a suburban high school.”

A casting agent recently sent band parents work permit applications that would clear the way for the minors to work in the movie’s marching band scenes.

Decatur Schools spokeswoman Courtney Burnett said the film company has contracted with the high school to shoot some of the film in the school’s football stadium. Burnett said many TV and movie projects have been filmed on CSD property in recent months.

Shooting dates are Nov. 9 through Dec. 20.
