Christmas continues in Decatur, according to the city’s Decatur Minute blog.

On Thursday, Dec. 12, there will be a bonfire and marshmallow roast on the Decatur square from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The event is free and sponsored by the Decatur Business Association.

On Dec. 14, the DBA is inviting the public to Breakfast With Santa at the Decatur Courtyard by Marriott. Doors open at 7:30 a.m., Santa arrives at 8 a.m. Breakfast and a photo are included in your ticket, which costs $7 for children and $12 for adults. To purchase tickets, click here.

And if you can’t get enough Christmas, you should decorate your house this weekend. If you make it look spiffy enough, the city of Decatur will award you its Commissioners Cup.

More from Decatur Minute:

“Decorate your home or business in the spirit of the holidays in time for the annual Decorate Decatur contest. Judges will ride by the nominated locations on Sunday, Dec. 15th in order to pick their favorites. Winners will include homes, a business, a neighborhood, and an overall winner who will receive the coveted Commissioners Cup from the City Commission on Monday, Dec. 16th.”
