Dogs, cats on clearance this month at DeKalb Shelter

Share

If you’re interested in adding to your circle of furry companions, DeKalb County Animal Services has a deal for you.

From now through Jan. 1, 2014, the shelter is offering amazing deals on adopting dogs and cats. And they’re wearing Santa hats. Santa hats! You have to adopt them if they’re wearing people clothes!

Based my analysis of the DeKalb Animal Shelter flyer, stock in felines is declining. Puppies and dogs cost $20 to adopt, compared with $10 for kittens and cats. As a proud cat owner, I can assure you there are lots of kitties out there looking for an owner to walk on love them.

Still not convinced? DeKalb Animal Shelter is sweetening the deal. The press release I received says,  “All adopted pets will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm or combo tested and dewormed – services with a retail value of over $200!”

You mean if you adopt a pet, DeKalb County will help you save $200? And it only costs $10 for cats? And $20 for dogs? At those prices, you can’t afford not to adopt a cat or a dog.

Here’s the flyer. Get ’em while they’re wearing Santa hats.
