Movie clips: Casting call for “Hunger Games” finale, “Barely Lethal” filming

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is burning it up at the box office, beating records previously set by the “Harry Potter” films, according to CNN.com. “The Hunger Games” sequel was filmed in Atlanta and so will the finale, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.” Like many films being made nowadays, the finale will be a two-parter. Projectcasting.com published a casting call for men and women in the Atlanta area willing to shave their heads for the”Mockingjay” film. 

Our friends at Decatur Metro report that the upcoming “Barely Lethal” movie will be filming at the Decatur Courthouse next week. “Barley Lethal” features actors Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Alba. According to Internet Movie Database, the plot involves, “A 16-year-old international assassin yearning for a ‘normal’ adolescence (who) fakes her own death and enrolls as a senior in a suburban high school.” As Decaturish.com reported a few weeks ago, the movie is also filming scenes at Decatur High.
