Decatur resident Kaveh Kamooneh’s attorney tells 11 Alive that the DeKalb County solicitor will not prosecute his client for electricity theft.

In case you don’t remember this, Kamooneh said he was arrested for plugging his electric car into an outlet at Chamblee Middle School. Chamblee officials said that Kamooneh was uncooperative and had prior run ins with school officials.

The story traveled around the world. Comedian Stephen Colbert reportedly filmed a segment on it, but no word on when it will air.
