Sunbrimmer Records at 4 Clarendon Ave. in Avondale Estates.

Downtown Avondale Estates may be awakening from its long slumber.

A poster on the window at 4 Clarendon Ave. says Sunbrimmer Records will open there in early 2014. The poster says the store will sell new and used vinyl.

Trilogy, a new age and metaphysical store, used to operate out of the space. That store closed last May.

Downtown Avondale Estates has been in the doldrums for years but has show signs of life lately.

Pallookaville Fine Foods opened on Halloween at 17 N. Avondale Plaza and a restaurant called the Bishop is scheduled to open in 2014 at 124 Avondale Road.
