DeKalb County has joined the growing list of schools, public institutions and businesses that are closing their doors tomorrow, Feb. 11, in anticipation of more winter weather.

County offices, including parks and recreation centers, senior centers, water billing offices, Recorders Court, will be closed.

DeKalb County’s regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting is postponed until Feb. 14.

“Sub-freezing temperatures are returning tonight,” Interim CEO Lee May said in a press release. “If at all possible, I am urging everyone to stay off the roads for the next two days until conditions are safe once again.”

There will be no garbage collection tomorrow, Feb. 11.
