Decatur Metro reports that the “Vampire Diaries” TV show is filming on location in Decatur today.

The city-owned Decatur Minute blog reports that filming locations include Trinity Street near Fire Station #1, Thumbs Up Diner on Ponce, and at Decatur First Baptist Church.

“There will be law enforcement present with all crews to ensure public safety and to help with traffic flow,” The Decatur Minute blog says. “If you are driving through downtown today, you may experience very temporary delays in front of Thumbs Up. Please either make plans to take an alternate route, or just be patient for a few moments while scenes film.”
