Snow photos – What are you seeing out there?

I got out today and took a few snow photos along West Howard Avenue in Decatur. I’ll be updating this post throughout the day with weather related photos. If you’d like to submit any of your own, send them to [email protected] or [email protected]
This photo that Ralph Ellis sent is the best yet. These kids are sliding down the steps at the Decatur MARTA station.
Here are some I took earlier today.
Ralph Ellis sent along these photos of West Ponce and Commerce.
The Watkins Family sent these in. The first one is of a shutter that blew off their house.
The second one is Isabella Watkins and Sophie Schexnyder walking down Melrose Ave.
Here’s one from Chris Billingsley. He says, “Hard to believe, but there are vehicles traveling on Church Street. Right now it’s slushy but it could easily change to hard ice before too long. FYI- All homes and condos north of Norris Street and east of Church Street appear to be without power.”
“Bad sign,” Billingsley says. “Frozen Magnolia leaves at Glenlake Park.”
Here’s another one from Ralph Ellis, who says, “Java Monkey was one of the few Decatur businesses open Wednesday. The coffee shop closes at 4 pm today and reopens at 8 am Thursday.”
Michael Vajda, an Oakhurst resident, sent along these photos.
Jennifer Hardy sent these in. Just gorgeous.
Lisa submitted this one, taken from inside Kavarna in Oakhurst.
Check out this cool photo of local artist Lori Leary.
Lisa Prodigo-Nimorwicz sent this photo and said it’s a picture of “Our puppy Porter longing to go back outside!” D’aww.
