Decatur Old House Fair – Saturday, Feb. 8, 9 am to 4 pm – Marriott Courtyard Decatur Hotel and Conference Center, 130 Clairemont Ave, Decatur

The event focuses on historic preservation of older homes and includes seminars, as well as shopping opportunities for attendees. To learn more and to buy tickets, click here.

Decatur Library Book Sale – Saturday, February 8, from 9 am – 3 pm – 215 Sycamore St, Decatur

“The Friends of the Decatur Library will host their annual winter book sale, on the ground floor of the Decatur Library. There will be a wide variety of books to choose from.”

Mardi Gras Party – Saturday, Feb. 8, from 7 pm to 11 pm – The Solarium, 321 West Hill Street, Decatur GA

The announcement says, “Don’t miss out on a great Mardi Gras party coming up in Decatur and benefitting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  This year’s event promises great dance music (horns too!), awesome gumbo and nibbles and a chance to show off your true Mardi Gras spirit — parade & festive attire encouraged but not required!  This Feb. 8th event is put on by our Decatur/Druid Hills Backyard Friends, which is a group that does volunteer events and fund raisers for CHOA year round (same group that decorates the mailboxes during holidays with the bright red bows that you may have seen around Decatur).”

Tickets cost $75 and are being sold at the door.

Eddie’s Attic

Feb. 7 – Robin Meade’s Round Robin, with special guests Victoria Shaw and Gary Burr, Feb. 7 at 9:30 pm. The venue says, “Robin Meade’s debut show at Eddie’s sold out back in October. She’s baaaaack, this time with Gary Burr, a Hall of Fame songwriter with 13 #1 hits to his name, and Victoria Shaw, who has written hits that have collectively sold 65 million CD’s.” For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.

Feb. 8 – Music by Rebecca Loebe, with special guest Robby Hecht, at 7 pm on Feb. 8. Feb. 9 –  Sam Lewis and Lowland Hum, with special guest The Rough and Tumble, at 7 pm on Feb. 9. The venue says, “Five years of constant writing, performing and touring have become the nexus of Lewis’ self-titled debut.
