Thursday, Feb. 6 – After-School Fireside Sing-A-Long and Snack – Wylde Center 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm.

The Wylde Center in Decatur will be hosting this class as part of a series of drop-in programs for children.

“Children will gather around a fire with local musicians for a sing-a-long, and to enjoy a snack of marshmallows and apples,” the announcement says. “Children under age 6 must be supervised by an adult. If the weather is 35 degrees or colder, the program will be re-scheduled. The cost is free for Wylde Center members and $10 for non-member families.”

“Children love being in the garden and having fun,” Andrea Zoppo, public programs manager for the Wylde Center said in a press release. “By introducing children to the wonders of the outdoor world, we hope to instill in them a life-long love of the environment. Program fees are reduced for Wylde Center members, so this is a good time to join and save all year long on programs and classes for children, families and adults.”
