Atlanta Intersections – Emory lecture series

Share

Emory is starting a new lecture series that will focus on Atlanta and its residents.

The Atlanta Intersections lecture series begins on March 18 with a presentation from photographer Chip Simone, who has documented the city for decades.

Simone’s presentation begins at 6:30 pm and will be held in the university’s Robert R. Woodruff Library.

The Atlanta Intersections series will feature “creative and dynamic Atlantans about the city’s past, present and future,” the university says.

“Chip is the perfect person to kick off the new series,” said lecture series director Randy Gue. “He’s a terrific photographer, he’s deeply thoughtful and articulate about his craft, and he’s a longtime member of the Atlanta arts community. It’s going to be a thought-provoking and fascinating conversation.”
