Qualifying for the May 20 primaries ended on Friday, March 7. As usual, it’s ridiculously difficult to find information about who you might be asked to vote for this year.

To make it easier for you, we’ve broken down all of the races relevant to where you live. You can also see your sample May 20 ballot by visiting the Georgia Secretary of State’s MyVoter page. Those ballots aren’t available yet, however. To see the list of statewide races, see the related story in our Metro ATL section. One bit of news in the senate race. Russell Waldon had announced his intention to seek the Senate District 42 seat currently held by Jason Carter, who is running for governor. His name does not appear on the list of qualified candidates for the May 20, Democratic primary. There is a Republican running for the seat, Gregory Williams.
