The home listed as the address of Avondale City Commissioner Lindsay Forlines is up for sale.

Forlines has been absent at recent City Commission meetings. The commissioner’s Dartmouth Avenue home is listed for sale at $925,000.

Forlines said her intention is to remain in Avondale Estates and continue serving on the commission.

“We are moving but I am very hopeful and fully expect we will be remaining in Avondale,” she said. “I am pleased to report it is not my intention to resign my seat. We are currently looking for a new home to rent or purchase that fits our current needs. I am excited this situation is looking promising, as I love serving on the (Board of Mayor and Commissioners).”

Forlines, a local attorney specializing in medical malpractice cases, was first elected in 2011. Her biography on her law firm’s website says she is the 2014 President of the DeKalb Municipal Association.
