Emory surgeons remove 27-pound tumor

Doris Lewis thought she was gaining weight, but WSB-TV reports that doctors discovered something more serious going on.
The TV station reports that surgeons at Emory University Hospital Midtown removed a 27 pound tumor from the woman’s stomach. The tumor had grown to the size of a beach ball.
“As this thing had grown, it had displaced her internal organs up and to the left,” Dr. Alan Gordon told WSB-TV.
