Important reminder: if you’re planning to vote early in the July 22 runoff election, Friday July 18 is your last chance.

The DeKalb County Board of Registration and Elections reported on July 17 that nearly 7,000 voters had participated in early voting this year. Races on the ballot include DeKalb County Sheriff, state school Superintendent and the DeKalb County Board of Education.

You can vote in person on July 18 by visiting the Voter Registration and Elections Office at 4380 Memorial Drive, Decatur, GA 30032. The office will be open 8 am to 5 pm
