U.S. News & World Report has released its rankings of hospitals around the country, and Emory University Hospital came out on top, ranking No. 1 in Georgia.

The hospital’s Midtown branch also placed at No. 4 on the list.

Here are the top 5, as determined by US News.

1. Emory University Hospital

2. Medical Center of Central Georgia

3. Shepherd Center.

4. Emory University Hospital Midtown

5. University Hospital, Augusta, Ga.

Emory University Hospital was also ranked No. 1 in the metro area and placed nationally in several specialties. It was ranked No. 15 in neurology and neurosurgery and No. 16 in cardiology and heart surgery.

The survey found that the hospital achieved an “average” patient satisfaction rating.
