APD makes arrest in kidnapping case

Atlanta Police have arrested a man in connection with a kidnapping case that resulted in the deaths of two people, including a woman who was seven months pregnant.

Police arrested Andre Gay. He has been charged with murder and is currently in the Fulton County Jail. Police released no other details about the arrest.

According to police, on Aug. 30 an unknown number of suspects jumped Jeronta Brown and Briana Brooks at their home on Colleen Court, located off Columbia Drive south of Memorial. The couple was later found lying along Ridge Avenue. Both had been shot in the head. Brown was dead, but Brooks survived. She was seven months pregnant and kept on life support until she could deliver her baby girl, 11 alive reports.
