Decatur will scrub schools to stop spread of viruses

City Schools of Decatur sent a letter to parents on Wednesday afternoon advising the community about its plans to defend against Ebola and Enterovirus.
There have been no reported outbreaks of either at CSD, but Superintendent Phyllis Edwards said all schools will be scrubbed prior to the Thanksgiving break. In addition, the system is also adopting a plan for enrolling students from countries affected by the Ebola virus and students who have visited those countries.
