Drew Charter School invited the public to see the latest addition to its campus on Sept. 27.

The Charlie Yates Campus, a 205,800 square foot high school that opened in July, rises from the hilly landscape like an exclamation point. It consists of parallel crescent-shaped buildings, one for academics and one for recreation. It serves as Drew’s high school, completing the “cradle to college” pipeline. It can accommodate 1,000 middle and high school students.

LauraBollman, Director of Program Design and Implementation for the CF Foundation, led the tour along with Cynthia Kuhlman, chair of the Drew Charter School Board of Directors.

Here are some of the things we saw on Saturday’s tour.
