The city of Decatur is inviting families and children to its annual Touch a Truck community event on March 7th. The city and DeKalb County will display dump trucks, fire trucks, police cars, and even tractors for children to see up close.

In the spirit of wheel appreciation, the city is also encouraging people to ride their bikes to Touch a Truck. It’s being held at the Callaway Building Parking lot at 120 West Trinity Place in Decatur from 10 am to 1 pm.

Be Active Decatur is also asking attendees to bring a canned good or non-perishable food item for National Nutrition Month. All donations will go to Decatur Emergency Assistance Ministry. For more information, contact Cheryl Burnette 678-553-6541 or cheryl.burnette@decaturga.com.
