Mark your calendars.

DeKalb County Interim CEO Lee May plans on stopping by Avondale Estates City Hall on March 5 for a town hall meeting.

The meeting begins at 7 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. City hall is located at 21 North Avondale Plaza.

“The community is invited to a town hall meeting with DeKalb County Interim Chief Executive Officer (ICEO) Lee May as he discusses his outlook for 2015,” the meeting announcement says. “There is no formal agenda for the meeting – the purpose is to hear from City of Avondale Estates residents and business owners.”

May will bring various department heads with him, including the police and fire chiefs.

The March 5 town hall is part of a meeting series called “A Look Ahead.” May plans to hold these meetings throughout the county.
