Scenes from the Mead Road Mardi Gras Parade

The Mead Road Mardi Gras Parade returned on Saturday, Feb. 7.
The parade began in 2005. This year it ended with a dinner of red beans and rice, chicken and sausage gumbo and jambalaya at the Imperial. Proceeds from the food and beer sales went to the Decatur Education Foundation to fund music grants for city schools.
Decaturish photographer Jonathan Phillips dropped by and sent us these pictures.
