Atlanta Police ask for help identifying bank robber

Atlanta Police say the man pictured here robbed a bank Wednesday, and they need the public’s help identifying him.

Officers say just before noon the man walked into the SunTrust bank on 740 W. Peachtree St. and presented a note demanding money.

APD said he got away with an undetermined amount of cash and changed clothes in the bushes after leaving the scene.

Atlanta Police said:

Any information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477), onlinewww.crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637). Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
