Atlanta Eater reports award-winning bartender Paul Calvert is leaving Decatur’s Paper Plane.

Calvert has received rave reviews for the drinks he mixes in the speakeasy behind Decatur’s Victory Sandwich Bar. He even appeared in Atlanta Magazine’s 2013 Best of Atlanta list.

The Atlanta Eater article reports Calvert as saying, “the separation is friendly, beneficial to all parties involved, and exciting for everyone.”

No word on Calvert’s long-term plans, according to Atlanta Eater, but a going-away party is planned for April 2. You can read the full article here.
