Friends gather to remember mother and daughter killed in Avondale house fire

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that around 100 people turned out for a Sunday picnic held in remembrance of Tami and Jess Willadsen, a mother and daughter who died in a fire on April 12, 2014.
The fire severely wounded her son, Jack, 5, and injured her husband, Dave. A Go Fund Me account set up for the family has raised more than $100,000 to cover medical bills. Willadsen family members did not attend the event, the AJC reported.
The property was recently put back on the market. A real-estate listing for the property shows the home is currently under contract.
