The Decatur Police Department will hold a presentation this Wednesday, May 13, “on how to protect yourself from becoming the victim of financial fraud.”

“The presentation will provide you information on common methods and scams suspects use to obtain personal information and take advantage of you and include an overview of current fraud trends reported in Decatur,” the announcement from the police department says.

The presentation will be held at the Decatur Library, located at 215 Sycamore Street in Decatur, Ga., 30030. The meeting begins at 11 am and ends at 12:30 pm.
