The Wylde Center’s annual plant sale is wrapping up this weekend with big discounts on plants all week.

The Wylde Center’s Julie Herron Carson said, “There are great bargains to be had today through Sunday!”

The announcement explains:

Visitors are invited to “fill a flat” with herbs and vegetable plants for just $10, and fruit trees are 50 percent off the original price today through this Sunday, June 21. Shoppers may pay Wylde Center staff, or those who visit after regular business hours may use the “honor system” and leave a check made out to the Wylde Center. Proceeds benefit the environmental organization and its four public greenspaces.

The sale is at 435 Oakview Road, Decatur, GA 30030, and sale hours are “sun up to sun down.”

And don’t worry, you haven’t missed the deadline to plant a spring garden. The Wylde Center’s Facebook page said, “It is not too late to plant your summer veggies. Georgia has such a long growing season that you are actually able to plant until mid-July. So come on down!”
