Celebrity chef Kevin Gillespie’s new Decatur restaurant is revising menu prices, a few days before it opens.

The restaurant released a menu Monday, but the prices caused several online commenters to balk. When Decaturish contacted Gillespie’s spokesperson for a comment about the menu prices, she said, “Kevin reviewed the menu pricing and realized there was an error causing it to be higher than it should be. The menu will reflect correct—and lower!—prices for the opening on Thursday.”

Gillespie recently told Decaturish that Revival will be the kind of experience you’d get if you were a lucky guest at the Gillespie family table, one that is deeply personal. It will reflect his belief that one of the key ingredients of Southern culture is in dangerously short supply. He said he couldn’t think of a restaurant in Atlanta that honored the cooking traditions his grandmother kept. On Tuesday, Gillespie posted a photo on Instagram of his grandmother, calling her his muse.

My muse. I love you Granny!
