A Decatur company has ranked on the “Inc. Magazine” annual list of the fastest-growing companies.

Xorbia Tickets came in at 1,672 on the Inc. 5000, a ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Xorbia is based in Decatur at 2752 East Ponce de Leon Avenue.

In a press release, Xorbia Tickets CEO John Ashbaugh said, “We’re proud to represent Decatur, Georgia on the Inc. 5000. We chose Decatur as our headquarters because we enjoy what Decatur offers our employees; convenient shopping, great restaurants and a strong sense of community.”

“Inc.’s” profile of the company says it projects a three-year sales growth of 243 percent. The press release says Ashbaugh and Jason Henley created Xorbia Tickets in 2003. The company helps live event promoters increase online sales.

An event honoring the companies that made the list will be held in October in Orlando, FL.
